PMG Healthcare was founded in 2012 by Dr. Chieng King Chong and Mr. Andrew Wong Pak Ung in the humble town of Sarikei, Sarawak, at a time when medical services were inadequate in many remote communities.
Driven by a clear goal, PMG Healthcare set out to provide affordable and accessible healthcare to all Malaysians — without compromising on quality. By 2025, PMG Healthcare has expanded to over 250 touchpoints nationwide, reflecting the trust and confidence earned through years of dedicated service.
However, it became evident that affordability and accessibility alone were not enough to resolve the fragmented nature of primary healthcare in the nation. In response, PMG Healthcare is leading the way in creating an integrated primary healthcare ecosystem — one that unites essential primary healthcare services under a single, patient-focused network.
